Manuel Domingo de Castellanos (Madrid 1956 – )
Short biography:
I studied for a technological baccalaureate and whilst I was taking my final grades I got involved with all the arts events of my course, which I enjoyed tremendously.
When I was 16, I passed the entrance examination for art school. The course consisted of drawing in charcoal two sculptures and various clothes. Like most teenagers of the same age, I was full of dreams and ambitions.
I carried out my military service before finishing my studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts (in Spain it was obligatory to do military service). After I had completed my studies I started working at a small high school in one of the most distinguished areas of Madrid (called ‘the Salamanca neighbourhood’).
