Francis Hoogland studeert in 1988 af – in de richting grafiek- aan de Hogeschool voor de Kunsten “Constantijn Huygens” te Kampen. Al snel wordt haar werk ontdekt door verzamelaars en artotheken –voor zowel bedrijven als particulieren. Zij exposeerde op prestigieuze tentoonstellingen als Holland Art Fair Gallery Art Show en Grafiek Nu en is te zien in spraakmakende galeries verspreid in Nederland. In 1997 won zij de bronzen penning van de stad Delden. In de jaren 10 vond er door  grote bezuinigingen op cultuur een kaalslag plaats in het culturele veld. Haar carrière als kunstenaar heeft ze toen op een laag pitje gezet en werkte vervolgens aan de Hogeschool voor de Kunsten ArtEZ. Maar met kunst maken is zij nooit gestopt. De lancering van haar website in 2024 biedt een goed overzicht van haar  loopbaan als kunstenaar, van haar afstuderen tot aan nu. Francis woont en werkt in Arnhem.

Francis Hoogland graduated in 1988 – in the direction of graphics – from the University of the Arts “Constantijn Huygens” in Kampen. Her work was soon discovered by collectors and art libraries – for both companies and private individuals. She exhibited at prestigious exhibitions such as Holland Art Fair Gallery Art Show and Grafiek Nu and can be seen in high-profile galleries throughout the Netherlands. In 1997 she won the bronze medal of the city of Delden. In the 1910s, there was a clear-out in the cultural field due to major cutbacks in culture. She then put her career as an artist on the back burner and subsequently worked at the University of the Arts ArtEZ. But she never stopped making art. The launch of her website in 2024 offers a good overview of her career as an artist, from her graduation to the present. Francis lives and works in Arnhem.
