Soviet painter, graphic artist. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. People’s Artist of Ukraine. Lomykin Konstantin Matveyevich was born on March 19, 1924 in the town of Glukhov, Sumy region. In 1951 he graduated from the Odessa Art School, teachers – L. Muchnik, N. Shelyuto, M. Poplavsky. Since 1951, he took part in regional, republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. Member of the Odessa organization of the Union of Artists of the USSR from 1953. The author of thematic paintings, works of everyday genre, landscapes and still lifes. Since 1971 – Honored Art Worker of the Ukrainian SSR. In 1984 Lomykin K.V. received the title of People’s Artist of the Ukrainian SSR. His works are in art museums in Ukraine, as well as in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Japan, France, Greece, Germany, Italy, Portugal and other countries. Lived and worked in Odessa.

In 1951 studeerde hij af aan de kunstacademie van Odessa, docenten – L. Muchnik, N. Shelyuto, M. Poplavsky. Sinds 1951 nam hij deel aan regionale, republikeinse, al-Unie en buitenlandse tentoonstellingen. Lid van de Odessa-organisatie van de Unie van Kunstenaars van de USSR vanaf 1953. De auteur van thematische schilderijen, werken van alledaagse genres, landschappen en stillevens. Sinds 1971 – Erekunstenaar van de Oekraïense SSR. In 1984 ontving Lomykin K.V. de titel van Volkskunstenaar van de Oekraïense SSR. Zijn werk bevindt zich in kunstmusea in Oekraïne, evenals in privécollecties in Oekraïne, Rusland, Japan, Frankrijk, Griekenland, Duitsland, Italië, Portugal en andere landen. Hij woonde en werkte in Odessa.
