Marguerite Hersberger is een Zwitserse kunstenares en belangrijke vertegenwoordiger van de constructief‑concrete kunst. Na een opleiding aan de Schule für Gestaltung in Bazel (1964–1966) werkte zij tot 1970 in Parijs in het beeldhouwatelier van François Stahly, waarna zij zich in Zürich vestigde, waar zij nog altijd actief is. In haar werk onderzoekt Hersberger de wisselwerking tussen licht, kleur, geometrische vorm en ruimte, vaak met acrylglas en transparante structuren; daarnaast realiseerde zij talrijke kunst‑aan‑de‑bouw‑projecten in Zwitserland en Duitsland.

Marguerite Hersberger is a Swiss artist and a prominent representative of Constructive Concrete art. After training at the Schule für Gestaltung in Basel (1964–1966), she worked in the sculpture studio of François Stahly in Paris until 1970, after which she settled in Zurich, where she remains active. In her work, Hersberger explores the interplay between light, color, geometric form, and space, often using acrylic glass and transparent structures; she has also realized numerous construction art projects in Switzerland and Germany.
